New York, NY -- GiveTide released version 2.0 of its mobile donation application today, marking a major milestone for the young company.
The updated version includes a number of new features. By popular demand, GiveTide can now charge donations directly to credit cards. The new version also features a favorites page, improvements to the auto-donate feature, as well as the ability to set up recurring donations with the tap of a button. GiveTide donors can now add any nonprofit to the platform instantly, allowing them to support the causes they care about from the moment they download the app. The new version is even more user-friendly and makes giving that much simpler.
“This update has been a long time coming and we are thrilled to finally release it,” said Pete Ghiorse, the CEO and Co-Founder of GiveTide. “We want to thank our user base for sticking with us and, most importantly, being vocal enough with their feedback that we have been able to improve the GiveTide experience for everyone. Of course we also want to thank the incredible nonprofits we’ve collaborated with, who inspire us to keep doing this.”
GiveTide is an application that allows you to securely round up your spare change from everyday transactions and donate it to any charity in the United States. Once you link your debit or credit card, the process is effortless. Simply choose your favorite nonprofits and make a one-time donation, set up a recurring donation, or enable auto-donate (our favorite) to automatically donate your spare change at the end of each week. Just set a weekly cap on your spare change roundups and the app will take care of the rest.
